Rev. Stephen PriceRev. Stephen Price became First Baptist Church of Hyattsville Interim Pastor in April, 2016. He comes from Heritage Baptist Church, Annapolis, Md., where he also served as Interim Pastor. He has served as Interim in four area churches over the last nine years and as a settled pastor in multiple congregations prior to that.  A therapist in private practice, he specializes in dealing with sexual offenders, addictions, and trauma victims.  He has a Master’s  Degree in Pastoral Counseling from Loyola University of Maryland and a Master’s in Sociology and Criminology from University of Massachusetts, Boston.  His favorite activities are kayaking with his wife Carole, playing the guitar and banjo, and basically being goofy with the youth and children wherever he is pastoring.  He and Carole have five children and three grandchildren between them.
