Worship: Our Worship Services are a “blended” service which includes both praise and traditional music. The Pastor’s message is rooted in Scripture and seeks to utilize an understanding of the context of the particular passage to help us understand what is being said and what it has to say to us in this time and place. We realize that Scripture calls us to follow Jesus in the here-and-now in caring for others and being an “outpost” of God’s Kingdom.

Helping the Hungry: Our two primary ministries to the hungry are our Holiday Café which provides a meal for the homeless on national holidays and the Welcome Table Food Pantry which will begin distribution on February 24th from 4-7 p.m.
Support Groups: FBCH is home to an MS Support Group. Lead by Joyce Page, one of our members, this group is listed in the Regional Guide as a “Faith Based Group” which means that persons needing to discuss how their illness has impacted their faith can see this as a safe place to have that conversation.
Hyattsville Police Chaplaincy Program: Our pastor, Stephen Price, has been active in the creation of this program. The Program seeks to provide a listening ear to Officers and assistance with calls where a clergy presence would be helpful. Our congregation held a Bake Sale this summer and raised $800 for an Officer being treated for cancer.
